OCTS Team

Position: Outside CTS Team Member

Region: Eastern PA, New Jersey, Delaware and Northern Maryland.

Role within team:

This team member will be responsible for the leading the values and mission of Ultraflex in the Northeast region. This team member will work autonomously in their assigned geographic area and with team members in congruent geographic areas to increase awareness of Ultraflex and the range of patients that we can help. As our therapy orthoses can be integrated into the rehabilitation programs for a number of Orthopedic and Neurologic diagnoses, one will be working with a variety of rehab professionals (including Physicians, Therapists, and Orthotists).

Job Duties:
  • Actively promote Ultraflex technology within a particular geographic area using a 'patient/customer first' approach to business activities and relationships; responsible for supporting our strategic clinical mission through face-to-face interactions with customers, referral sources and patients.
  • Develop and manage market in assigned territory; territory management includes, but is not limited to, defining market demographics, competitor analysis, prospecting new business and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of CRM software and use software to track all activities and communication with each contact.
  • Initiate contact (effective cold calling), schedule appointments, conduct professional presentations and complete appropriate follow-up.
  • Attend local & national trade shows and assist with Ultraflex sponsored continuing education courses in designated and congruent territories.
  • Attend ongoing current and new product training meetings at main office and with team leader/members in the field to keep abreast of new Ultraflex technology.
  • Participate with Team Leader to effectively maintain existing accounts, develop new business and address operational issues.
  • Report key functions and activities to team members and company routinely; benchmark key functions to continuously develop role within company.
  • Work with marketing and inside CTS to provide consistent product support and new product introductions.
  • Complete training program and master technical product information.
  • Participate in ongoing personal development plan to enhance key areas for success.
Position Attributes Needed:
education: BA/BS in Business or health-related field.
training:
Three to five years outside sales/field technical support experience, preferably in the healthcare environment.

experience:
Exhibited job stability and commitment. Demonstrated successful transition from inside customer service/technical support to outside field support. Demonstrated expertise in technical selling of customized products to multiple channels & target audiences that required presentation skills for each. Proven performance cultivating and maintaining business relationships. Experience with and thorough reporting skills Excellent PC skills; MS Office, database software, email/internet.
