Job Description
- Title: Physical Therapy Clinical Educator
- Reports to: Group Coordinator, Clinical Affairs for training, direction, support and coordination of responsibilities.
- Basic Functions

The purpose of this job is to provide clinical education on all Ultraflex technology to various health care professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, orthotists and physicians.
- Up to 75% of this position will involve travel.
- Other Reporting Relationships
The Physical Therapy Clinical Educator will work closely with:
- Clinical Affairs
- Inside Clinical and Technical Support Team
- Marketing Research and Development Team
- President of Ultraflex.
- Responsibility & Principal Duties
The Physical Therapy Clinical Educator will:
- Become an expert on Ultraflex technology including patient applications, evaluation techniques and orthosis design recommendations
- Help to develop clinical course content and materials based on current concepts, techniques and research in physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Research and organize information effectively and efficiently for the purpose of teaching
- Develop Power Point Presentations
- Present/conduct in-services, live courses, on-line courses on Ultraflex technology both independently as well as in coordination with other Ultraflex speakers (both employees and independent members of our faculty)
- Apply for continuing education course approval with various state and national organizations
- Independently schedule in-services, courses, etc. to target facilities/regional areas of focus
- Perform administrative duties necessary to fully support educational courses including reporting and follow up
- Travel up to 75% of the time
- Attend local, regional and national conferences to promote and educate about Ultraflex
- Job Requirements
- M.S. in Physical Therapy
- Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience in pediatrics or in an adult rehabilitation hospital setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Power Point
- Excellent Public Speaking Skills
- Strong Organization Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Office based position when not traveling (Pottstown, PA)
- 75% travel
