1. Provide strategic Human Resources in the areas of compliance, recruiting, training and development, pay equity, benefits, employee relations, and employee satisfaction.
- Support the line functions by assisting Team Leaders to empower their teams.
- Assure a safe and effective work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compliance – Assure that all internal policies are followed consistently and fairly. Assure that the company is in compliance with all HR statutes and regulations on a federal, state and local level.
- Recruiting – Hire the best possible individuals whose attitude, aptitude and proven skill set are exactly what the company needs to advance the efforts of every team. Assure that recruiting is done consistently and professionally so expectations are clear on both sides - for each candidate we consider and for the company.
- Training and Development – Assure Group Coordinators and Team Leaders are trained to understand their roles as leaders in the organization. Assist Group Coordinators and Team Leaders to assess gaps in their teams (via the 360 process for example) where further development is needed for leadership, teambuilding, empowerment, time management, accountability, etc. all in accordance with the Ultraflex Way business philosophy and principles. Assure that each employee has a training development plan to grow professionally in order to advance our patient care mission.
- Pay Equity – Establish a pay-for-performance appraisal system. Assist in revising all compensation programs to be more objective, merit based, and competitive within the company and within the industry to improve gain-sharing.
- Benefits – Assure the company gets the most employee benefit and satisfaction for resource dollar spent and that all benefits, including healthcare, 401(k) and Profit Sharing, are competitive for Ultraflex’s business model (to attract and retain the very best people).
- Employee Relations and Satisfaction – Provide an open door “safety valve” for all employee grievances. Systematically survey attitudes and satisfaction to objectively benchmark and rationalize plans to improve morale. Work closely with Group Coordinators and Team Leaders in this endeavor.
- Perform other duties in the interest of the company as needed or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR subject matter – compensation, recruiting, etc.
- Sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and provide solutions
- Working understanding of Ultraflex and individual team operations, goals and objectives
Abilities:
- Independently perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively
- Provide compassion and strength in difficult situations
- Apply company policy in a consistent and fair manner
- Strong communication and training skills
- Strong attention to detail
Education and Experience:
- Combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position
- Experience as sole HR professional in an organization is highly desirable
- Professional certification is a plus
