Group Coordinator of Operations
Summary:
Player-coach to coordinate, maintain, and continually improve systems and procedures through Lean manufacturing techniques for increased Team productivity and Team development. Maintain and foster an environment of accountability, open communication, idea development, implementation and results proven success, while respecting each Team Member for their efforts and contributions.
Responsibilities 
- Lead, challenge, train, and mentor employees toward full Lean implementation
- Schedule daily production to meet customer demand
- Enter and report all key production outputs versus standards
- Ensure a safe, efficient and effective operating environment
- Eliminate “waste” that slows us down from completely satisfying our customers
- Provide the most dependable delivery in our industry – ship on time, right, the first time
- Improve output through Lean
- Become the change agent for continuous improvement
- Other duties in the interest of the Company as needed or assigned
Qualifications 
- B.S./B.A. or equivalent
- 8-10 years experience in a small to medium size manufacturing company, preferably in medical devices or consumer products
- 5 years experience in leading the selection/creation of successful operating teams
- Demonstrated successful implementation of Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, TPM, Single Piece Flow, Lean supply chain)
- Demonstrated experience using objective performance measures
- Strong leader with focus, resolve, commitment, and a sense that things can always be improved and the customer is king
- Ability to empower employees – dedicated to teamwork and communication
- Pride in quality craftsmanship
